AIR® is recognized as the nation's leading aerial fitness training method. Designed for all levels, AIR® is an intense fitness training program fusing elements of conditioning, Pilates, ballet, and HIIT on aerial hammocks. Brainiax, founded in 2019 by an experienced teacher with a master’s degree in childhood education, offers a 1:5 teacher to student ratio for pre-K 3’s & 4’s. They offer convenient morning or afternoon sessions. Brainiax is a place where education and exploration come together in perfect harmony. Brainiax kids receive much needed personalized attention because of their small class size which allows for growth academically, emotionally, and socially. Their summer program offers learning, exploration, art, science, music, STEAM and fun in a sensory gym!

At Five Star Swim School, children learn to swim and gain much-needed confidence around water. The lessons focus on developing essential skills, ensuring safety, and having fun!

Infant classes start as early as 6 months old. Children between 2.5 and 15 years are grouped by age and skill level. The class ratio is 3:1 student-to-teacher, providing ample attention from the instructor and helping the kids learn to swim with confidence.

Five Star Swim School offers swimming lessons year-round. The indoor saltwater pool is heated to 90 degrees, which provides a more enjoyable experience for children and parents. It is also better for your skin, hair, and eyes.

Weekly (Half-Day) Summer Camps 7/8 - 8/23 

Weekly STEM camps empower kids ages 8-14 to create fascinating devices and customize items using the latest technology. We will help kids explore technology from AR to AI, while they create items that link together multiple engineering concepts. Innovation Foundry camps are designed by engineers for hands-on experimentation and learning all done while having fun and collaborating with other campers. Kids can choose from a variety of programs like AR/VR Development, Makers Week, Engineer's Escape Room, & 3D Printing & Electronics with Half-Day & Full-Day options.

A beloved early childhood enrichment class, we have been rockin' the babes here in Maplewood since 2012, and throughout New York City since 1996! Aardvarks is the OG of rockin’ early childhood music enrichment classes, and helps develop the youngest modern young minds and hearts!

Rocket Improv is a unique performing arts program for youth in the Northern and Central NJ area as it offers improv classes, D&D sessions, and process-based acting classes for kids, tweens, and teens. They also host improv events for businesses and private affairs. Through play and creating a safe community with others, Rocket Improv empowers individuals to release fear, speak up and speak out, and boldly be their awesome, unique selves.

The South Orange-Maplewood Adult School Children’s Summer Program has been a summer institution in our community for nearly 50 years.
We are proud of the Program’s longstanding history of providing a unique and enriching à-la-carte creative arts, academic, and sports program for children. The program also served to provide jobs for local teachers, as well as employment and training for youth leaders.
