Where to go ice skating in and around Union, Essex, and Morris

With indoor sports set to reopen in just a few weeks, I expect to be adding to this list but for now, we're lucky to have a few outdoor ice rinks that I wanted to share with you all!

OUTDOOR

Taylor Park (Millburn)
Skating on Taylor Pond is permitted when conditions allow! Check this spreadsheet for current conditions.

Westfield Ice Rink at Gumbert Park (Westfield)
Public skates Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Registration for a time slot is required.

Rosedale Skating Rink (Madison)
Located on Rosedale Avenue, adjacent to the Madison Community Pool. Skating is permitted when the flag is raised or notice is posted. Check for current status HERE.

Nash Park (Chatham)
Dependent on weather and temperature.
