Description
The Summit Department of Community Programs is announcing the second annual Juneteenth event will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024. This free event is open to all members of the public. The event will be held on Summit's Village Green.
The event to include a ceremony that will include a prayer, a performance of the black national anthem, and a flag raising for the Juneteenth and Pan-African flags. The event will also feature a black-owned vendor and display fair; a live DJ; spoken word, musical, and dance performances; and a gallery of posters highlighting figures of black excellence in Summit.
