The New Providence Business Community and the borough have teamed up once again to host the annual Holiday Festival. Presented by the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders, this event will take place in downtown New Providence on Friday evening, Nov. 29 from 6 – 8 PM. Businesses will be open the next day with specials and offers for Small Business Saturday.
In addition to the traditional Christmas Walk and Santa’s arrival at Provident Bank with the marching band, the Holiday Festival will feature winter celebrations and customs from around the world, entertainment, activities, giveaways, ice sculptures, a train, a giant snow globe, and lots more! The evening will culminate with a fantastic fireworks show sponsored by NP Fuel. Local businesses are also participating with entertainment, free treats, and fun! Event activities will be located in the Village Shopping Center, along Springfield Ave., and in the Adams Shopping Center.
