Join us for a very special storytime (ideal for ages 4 to 7) that you’ll be sure to get a kick out of! Author Rosanne Kurstedt, a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do and a New Jersey native, will be stopping by to read from her new picture book, Karate Kid, featuring the lovable Goat as he goes through the major stances and karate moves, teaching readers to channel focus and strength through each pose. She will be joined by Michael Whiteley, a 35-year veteran the Martial Arts and the owner of Isshinryu Karate Madison. He will be bringing along some of his young students who will be demonstrating the poses and moves featured in Karate Kid. The author will be signing books after the presentation. This event is free, will run approximately 1 hour, and is open to the public. No RSVP required.
