Description

Join METC  on our front lawn for a FREE day of family fun focused on all things sweet! As part of the fun, we will be joined by historian Deborah Peterson demonstrating  how to make colonial “ice’d creams.”  Visitors will have a chance to sample both colonial and modern flavors with sweet frozen treats from Rita’s Italian Ice of Berkeley Heights and Main Freeze of Madison, and also enjoy refreshments provided by Kings Food Market and Simple Coffee .  Family friendly entertainment for the day is provided by the performers of Step Right Up and the band, Cracked Walnuts. Lots of  games and activities will be happening all day too, so make sure to stop by for some summer fun! Registration recommended as supplies are limited.
