The South Orange Farmers Market is now in its 33rd season in the Sloan St. Lot (across from the NJ Transit station). The market is open weekly on Wednesdays from 2-7 PM through October 30th and will be held rain or shine.
Customers may get Jersey Fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, meats, bread, pickles, olives, soups, homemade ice cream, apple cider, soul food, sweet treats, grab and go lunch/dinner and much more. All of your favorite farmers and vendors are back, plus some exciting new vendors have been added.
This season will feature a special event on June 12, 2024: Storytime and Book Signing with Pooja Desai, the author of "Tia Bua." Limited books will be available for purchase and signing by the author starting at 3 PM. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own copies for signing. Storytimes are staggered at 4:30 PM, 5:00 PM, and 5:30 PM.
