It's National Library Week April 3 to 9, and we thought we'd take the opportunity to highlight some of the more unique items the Livingston Public Library has available to check out ... other than books!
At Livingston Public Library you can borrow:
Sewing Machine
LPL's Library of Things includes a Sewing Machine (Brother SM2799) with instructions, operational manual, operational DVD, power cord, foot pedal, book: Jane Bull's Get Set, Sew, Sewing Kit (thread, bobbins, scissors, pins, marking pencil, needles, seam ripper, tape measure), assorted fabrics.
Cubetto - Coding Toy
Cubetto is a robot that will teach your child the basics of computer programming through adventure and hands on play. This screenless coding toy is for children ages 3-6.
Storm King Art Center Pass
Storm King Art Center is a 500-acre outdoor museum located in New York’s Hudson Valley, where visitors experience large-scale sculpture and site-specific commissions under open sky. Storm King's 2022 season opening is Wednesday, April 6! Book tickets and plan your visit via the this link. The pass allows admission for one vehicle carrying up to 6 individuals.
