Are you missing the movies or just looking for a fun thing to do outside of the house? Book a private watch party at a local movie theater! Here's what you need to know!
- The two local ones I know offering private watch parties are the Watchung Cinemark and the a few AMC Theaters - Mountainside, West Orange, and East Hanover, to name the most local. To find the AMC options, click this link (which is currently set to the West Orange theater), select your date (right now they're only on weekends) and scroll to the theater of your choice!
- Depending on the movie you pick, the price range is $99-250. Older movies and classics are on the lower end and newer movies are offered at a premium.
- For that price, you get 20 tickets to the private movie theater! If you get a few families involved it costs less than going to the movies regularly!
- They release slots about 4 weeks in advance and they do sell out so be sure to book quickly if you see a slot you want.
- I think it's a super fun and well-priced option for a child's birthday, an adult birthday, a fun date night, holiday or day off from school, or just to get out of the house and mix things up!
