Snyder Ave Splash Pad and Playground review

Cool off at Snyder Ave Park in Berkeley Heights

By Julie Lepore, Macaroni Kid Summit/SH/SOMA Publisher June 12, 2019

With our town's pool not open on weekdays until the end of June, we've been looking for ways we can play outside but still stay cool. We almost always end up splashing around in the stream in Briant Park (Summit) but wanted to check out the splash pad at Snyder Ave Park in Berkeley Heights. We were not disappointed!

Address for GPS: 240 Snyder Ave, Berkeley Heights NJ

Features: a generous play area with climbing equipment, slides, and swings; a fenced-off splash pad with water spout features; bathrooms; a picnic area; plenty of parking.

Don't forget: lunch for a picnic, sunscreen (there's no shade!!), towels, a change of clothes so you can drive home dry!

To make a day of it: have a picnic there and then stop at Zita's (1 mile away) for some ice cream after!
