Screamin' Parties Springfield is hosting Jump Therapy on Tuesdays from 5-6pm.
This program, developed by an occupational therapist with 30 years of experience, is for children ages 3-12 with ADHD, autistic spectrum disorders, and sensory processing, motor and social skill difficulties.
It helps develop sensory motor skills like balance and coordination, body in space awareness, motor planning, and bilateral integration in a fun environment. There is a heavy emphasis on social skill building as well, giving children an opportunity to work on eye contact, impulse control, turn taking, frustration tolerance, team building, and sportsmanship.
The class has a 1:2 adult to child ratio and is facilitated by occupational and speech therapists. While jump therapy is in session, there is a free parent support group held simultaneously.
