Click on the highlighted links for more details.  Please also remember that events keep coming in so please check this Halloween Event Guide throughout October for updates and if you have an activity to add, please let me know.​​BERKELEY HEIGHTS
- Monday, October 24, 6:30pm  Pumpkin Crafts, Games and a Story in the Library For all ages!

- Saturday, October 29, 10:00am - 12:00pm  Halloween Spooktacular at The Berkeley Heights YMCA.

- Saturday, October 29, 2:00pm Spooky Science at The Berkeley Heights YMCA.  For ages 4 - 7.


CHATHAM/MADISON
-Friday, October 28, 6:00pm  Pumpkin Illumination & Trunk or Treat, in Madison Tons of illuminated pumpkins (bring yours to share) plus participants are encouraged to decorate their trunks in a creative theme!  Trick or treat from trunk to trunk!

-Saturday, October 29, 12: 15pm Halloween Parade, Magic Show and trick-or-treating, in Madison.


- Saturday, October 29, 1:00pm Teeny Tiny Trail Tales at Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center in Chatham.  For families with small children a less spooky version of Trail Tales.

- Saturday, October 29, 5:30-7:45pm Trail Tales! at Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center in Chatham.  Slightly spooky tales for ages 6 & up.

- Monday, October 31, 10 - 11:30am HALLOWEEN PARADE at the Library of The Chathams. Come in costume and join the parade around the library grounds!

-Monday, October 31, 10am - 11am, Toddler Trek: Going Batty at Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center.

CHESTER
- SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29, 1 - 3:30pm A Miller's Halloween at Cooper Gristmill.

EAST HANOVER
- Friday, October 28, 6-9pm Halloween Party AT THE FUNPLEX!  Unlimited rides, a Haunted House, pizza, contests and much more!

- Friday, October 28, 5 - 7pm Halloween Fright Night at Parteaz.  Pizza, crafts and fun.

LIVINGSTON
- Saturday, October 29th, 5 - 7pm FRIGHT NIGHT in Livingston at the Senior/Community Center.  Drop In Event.  Trunk or Treat and Parade require pre-registration. Click the link for more information.

MAPLEWOOD
- Monday, October 31, 3 - 5pm Maplewood Annual Parade and Costume Contest on Maplewood Avenue.  
MILLBURN/SHORT HILS
- Saturday, October 29, 3pm - 5pm NEWCOMERS AND NEIGHBORS OF SHORT HILLS/MILLBURN FALL FAMILY DAY. Live entertainment, face painting, games, crafts, a toddler playroom, pumpkin decorating and more!

- Sunday, October 30, 11am - 3pm 65th Annual Millburn Fire Department Halloween Parade at Taylor Park. Click the link for more information.

- Monday, October 31, 3pm - 5pm Halloween Costume Parade at Greenwood Gardens Free admission, registration suggested for parking. 

MORRISTOWN AND MORRIS TOWNSHIP
- Wednesday, October 11 - Sunday, October 29, at 1pm & 2pm  THE TIME TO MOURN at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm.  Tour the Foster family home, The Willows, to explore the unique death and mourning traditions of the Victorian period.  Ages 12 & up. 


- Saturday, October 29, 6pm - 9pm, MANY DREADFUL TALES at Historic Speedwell.  

- Sunday, October 30, 12pm - 5:00pm, Historic Haunting at Historic SpeedwellA Scary and fun afternoon of Halloween stories, fun and games.

- Sunday, October 30, 1pm - 3:30pm, Historic Halloween Happenings at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm.  Decorate cookies, try on old-fashion costumes, take a guided walk to see many pumpkins hiding in the woods.

SOUTH ORANGE
- Monday, October 31, 4pm - 6pm South Orange Halloween Festival at Spiotta Park. Music, games, costume contest and merchant trick-or-treating. 

SUMMIT
- Saturday, October 22, 12:30-3:00pm Halloween Spooktacular Family Fun at Summit YMCA. Halloween games, arts, crafts, activities and a Zombie Land!

- Friday, October 28th, 6pm Scream on the Green, Monster Mash Dance Party, bonfire, fresh apple cider and a scary movie!

- Saturday, October 29, 3pm Summit's Annual Halloween Parade sponsored by PAL, featuring Ghoulish Goodies, Spook-tacular Live Entertainment and the annual Chilling Costume Contest. (This is the Rain Date! Was originally scheduled for 10/22)


WEST ORANGE
- Saturday, October 29 11am-3:00pm Bartoberfest! Pet Adoption Event at The Turtle Back Zoo (and dress up your own pet for Halloween).

-Monday, October 31, 4pm - 8pm Howl-O-Ween at Turtle Back Zoo.  Themed entertainment, candy giveaways and your favorite animals!
